Tithing

By Sebastian Foss Most Christians crave for blessings from God in every area – spiritual, financial, academic, physical, family, business, ministry, etc. God knew this before hand and therefore designed a system through which His faithful children can have access to continuous blessings. That way, ironically is not popular. It is still under heavy debate and individual manipulation. That way is tithing. Tithe, according to Genesis 28:22, is a tenth or ten percent of whatever God gives to you. It is a tenth of your income, profit or increase. It may be in your hands and subject to your manipulations, yet Numbers 18:24-28 and 2 Chronicles 31:12 say it belongs to God. Tithe is not yours. It is Heaven’s property in your hands which should immediately be taken to the house of the Lord, and kept together with other dedicated things. Many Christians will never steal anything from the church because they know they are consecrated or set apart for God’s use. They know anyone who steals from the church, is cursed and will face divine judgement from God Himself. Yet, these same Christians do not mind eating their tithes. But it is the same two and two pence. Your tithe is part of the dedicated things of God. It should not stay long wit li you but should immediately be taken to where it belongs – the house of God Anyone who spends tithes is actually stealing from the temple and invoking Gods judgement. But worse than stealing other dedicated things from the churrli. spending your tithe, robs the church of something of value. According to our article of today, tithes are meant to support pastors and ministers of God, and expand the Kingdom of God. Each tithe you spend, robs a minister of God of his salary, denies the church the means to further the spread of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and limits the expansion of God’s Kingdom. Each tithe you refuse to pay puts someone into suffering. You cannot effectively quantify the negative effects of your refusal to pay the tithes. How can you be blessed when you have caused much suffering and sorrow to God’s servants? No wonder God calls such a person a robber. Are you a tither? Or do you tithe at your convenience? Repent today and restitute your ways. Proper Drainage For Retaining Walls

By Bill Prudehome If you are construction a retaining wall that is higher than two feet, there are some things you should do to ensure that it does not shift. The construction of a retaining wall is very dependent on the foundation that the wall is sitting on. In some areas a retaining wall can be built directly on the ground, in other areas a concrete footing should be installed. If the ground soil has been disturbed over the last few years, or is the type of soil that compacts easily a footing should be installed to prevent the retaining wall from sinking. In all cases, drainage of some sort should be installed on the inside base of the wall. Water laden soil can be twice as heavy as dry soil. The water moves down through the soil looking for an exit route, as it is saturates the soil it will apply a tremendous amount of pressure on the backside of the retaining wall. As there is nothing on the front side of the wall to apply pressure, the wall may begin to move forward especially near the top. Drainage can be installed using perforated drainage pipe running perpendicular to the wall, installed at the inside base. If you use drainage pipe, the water that has saturated the soil will eventually find its way to the pipe and be directed away from the wall. The important point here is to have an exit for that water. This can be done by connecting to the home drainage system or by providing a 90 exit, through the retaining wall at the lowest point. When installing the drainage pipe place a layer of crushed stone all around the pipe to a thickness of at least one inch, two is even better. This prevents the holes in the drainage pipe from becoming clogged with soil. Providing adequate drainage is important whether you are constructing your retaining wall from pressure treated lumber, railway ties, rocks or even if you are using cast concrete blocks that interlock on an angle as they sit on top of one another. Getting Along

By Kenneth C. Hoffman Some people seem to have a talent for being agreeable. They are labeled as being friendly persons with wonderful personalities. I, myself, have to concentrate on what is being said and consciously back burner my personal strong beliefs that run counter to the opinions aired. I find it difficult to give the speaker the benefit of the doubt so that I can hear his (or her) opinions to the end without interrupting. I know that in the past I have been known to run off at the mouth with my long winded diatribes. Some of this tendency was caused occasionally by the Benzedrine component in my allergy medication, but not all. Once, to prove a point (to myself) I mimicked the style of the group of radio personalities on the Imus in the Morning Show. Imus himself is a personable raconteur of considerable fame. He sets forth his emphatic opinions, taking the underdog’s cause every time. Of course he uses the humor element to tease anyone he deems pretentious or fake in any way, lighting into them unmercifully. But the point of this example is the attitude of his minions. They invariably take up Imus’ cause and amplify it with expressions of full support – even exaggerating to the point of ridiculousness. Imus’ response to this vocal agreement is to use it to further his cause. His radio comrades are the ‘Yes men” of the air, becoming furiously indignant when Imus is slightly annoyed and violently angry when Imus had his feelings hurt. This show of empathy is what binds different people together and what I would like to emulate in order to ‘get along’ in the world. I did try it on my wife one day. She was suffering from a form of depression where everything takes on a negative aspect. So in order to neutralize these black feelings, I attempted to use the methods I observed on Imus show. It really did work. My wife immediately felt better, sounding more positive in her conversation and appeared far less argumentative. I also felt the positive vibrations in reaction to my vocal support. Since then I have tried to be less obtuse in my daily conversations without undermining my true feelings and to listen better. We all have to get along in this world and there is little room for my unsympathetic attitudes. Now I know one of my resolutions come New Years Day. I might even start now. Retired but still writing. Could Etiquette Have an Effect on Your Child’s Future Income?

By Edith Vosefski Will your child’s lack of manners keep him/her from attending the college of your choice? In this day and age, dining out may be done from a paper bag, but many colleges and universities are now evaluating the social skills of potential students. Not all schools require personal interviews as part of evaluating a student for acceptance, but there is a trend in this direction. Often the student ia asked to attend a luncheon and his/her dining skills are monitored and assessed. Schools do not want people who are going to be uncouth alumni. I was recently privileged to be the keynote speaker at a Chicago university which sponsors a program for high school girls who are juniors and seniors. These girls are introduced to the possibility of choosing a career in the fields of technology, and have a chance to explore whether or not a career in the technological fields would be appropriate for their college major. As a professional in the field of teaching etiquette, I was asked to address these girls at a luncheon given in their honor. My mission at that luncheon was to teach the girls how to dress and present themselves for an interview, and how to exhibit proper dining skills while at the table. By the time we had worked our way through five courses including instructions; the students were well informed competent diners, and often amazed by what they had learned. Next, we addressed the issue that our personal income may be at least partially determined by how well we mind our manners and our attitudes. Our ability to be promoted may depend on our people skills as well as our techincal skills. Three seperate studies conducted by Harvard University, the Carnegie Foundation, and the Stanford Research Institue agree that “Success in getting, keeping, and advancing in a job depends 85% on people skills and only 15% on technical skills”. So proper social skills including courtesy and respect may be the bottom line in determining a profitable future. www.etiquette4u.com Edith Vosefski MA.,is the Director of the Etiquette School of Northern Illinois. She works with individuals, schools, and corporations who want to perfect their social skills. She is a graduate of Northwestern University, and believes that manners are just important today as they ever were. In fact, she also believes that etiquette can be fun, fascinating, and functional. She writes a newspaper column “Hats Off to Etiquette” which is published regularly by the Liberty Press. Sexual Harassment and Sex Discrimination Answers

By Brendan Chao Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination that violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Title VII applies to employers with 15 or more employees, including state and local governments. It also applies to employment agencies and to labor organizations, as well as to the federal government. Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitute sexual harassment when this conduct explicitly or implicitly affects an individual’s employment, unreasonably interferes with an individual’s work performance, or creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions: What is sexual harassment? Sexual harassment is defined as “unwelcome sexual advances or conduct.” Sexual harassment includes quid pro quo harassment or a hostile or offensive work environment. Sexual harassment is any kind of sexual conduct that is unwelcome and/or inappropriate for the work place. Sexual harassment can take many forms: verbal harassment, e.g. sexual or dirty jokes, visual harassment, e.g. drawings, emails, etc., physical harassment, and sexual favors, e.g. sexual advances, confrontation with sexual demands (quid pr quo sexual harassment). In the work place, sexual harassment can come from the owner, supervisors, managers, and co-workers. Sexual harassment does not only occur in the work place; it can occur off-site at office functions and parties. Who can be held responsible if I am the victim of sexual harassment at work? Both the employer and employees are liable for sexual harassment. What is quid pro quo sexual harassment? Quid pro quo sexual harassment takes place when a supervisor or someone with authority over your job demands sexual favors from you in exchange for a promotion, raise or some other benefit, including keeping your job. The demand for sexual favors can be explicit, e.g. “If you have sex with me, I will promote you,” or it can be implied from unwelcome physical contact such as touching or fondling. What must I prove to prevail in a cause of action for quid pro quo sexual harassment? You must show that a supervisor, or someone with authority over your job, explicitly or implicitly conditioned a job, retention of your job, a job benefit (raise, business trip, or some other benefit), on your acceptance of sexual conduct. You must demonstrate that the harasser is someone with authority who can affect conditions of your employment. You also have to prove that the sexual conduct was unwelcome. How can I prove that the sexual conduct was unwelcome? The sexual conduct must be unwelcome. You may show that the conduct was unwelcome by showing that you: explicitly rejected his/her sexual advances; you suffered emotional distress; your job performance deteriorated; you avoided the harasser; you told friends and/or family of the harassment; and you told a company representative of the harassment. Each case is different and your case may or may not include some of these examples. What are my remedies in a quid pro quo sexual harassment case? The law provides that you may recover damages from your employer once you have proven that you were deprived of a job benefit, or suffered an adverse employment action, e.g. failure to promote, termination of employment, because you refused to accept your supervisor’s sexual demands. What To Do If I Think I am the Victim of Sexual Harassment? Keep a record of the events surrounding the sexual harassment, include the date, time, place, and who was present. Your notes may become very important in litigating the case, but bear in mind that these notes may be required to be turned over to the employer during the discovery phase of litigation. Check the companys employee handbook, if one exists, to determine if the company has a procedure for handling sexual harassment complaints. If the company has a procedure for filing a sexual harassment complaint you must comply with it. If you do not complain to the employer, the employer can successfully defend itself from liability by arguing that it was not aware of the problem, and therefore was unable to remedy the problem. However, if the problem is not remedied, you may wish to speak to an attorney for advice on how to file a formal complaint with the appropriate federal or state or city agency. You may still want to speak with an attorney before you file the complaint with the company to ensure that it is communicated appropriately. Once I inform my employer about the sexual harassment, what must my employer do? Once the employer knows or should know about the harassment, it has a duty to take immediate and appropriate corrective action to end the harassment. The employer’s response must be reasonably calculated to end the harassment and if earlier discipline did not end the harassment, more severe discipline is required. Is my employer still responsible if the harasser is a co-worker? If the demand for sexual favors is made by a co-worker with no power to affect your employment opportunities, you cannot claim quid pro quo harassment. However, you may claim that the co-workers actions created a hostile work environment, and an employer may be held liable for the conduct of the employee if the employer knew or should have known of the employee’s conduct and failed to take prompt remedial action to stop the harassment. What is “hostile work environment” sexual harassment? As an employee, you have a right to work in an environment that is free of discrimination, intimidation, insult and ridicule. You have a potential claim for hostile work environment if the sexual harassment unreasonably interferes with your work performance or creates an offensive or intimidating work environment. In order to have a claim for hostile work environment, you must be able to prove that there was more than a single incident of harassment. You also have to show, as in quid pro quo sexual harassment, that the sexual conduct was unwelcome. What are examples of a hostile or offensive work environment? Sexually-charged jokes or pranks, being grabbed or whistled at, sexual advances, requests for sexual favors or other verbal, visual, or physical conduct of a sexual nature can create a hostile work environment and can qualify as sexual harassment. Conduct that makes the workplace sexually charged does not need to be directly aimed at you. For example, being subject to offensive company-wide emails may create a hostile or offensive work environment. What must I show in order to recover damages for a hostile work environment? You must show that the unwelcome sexual conduct was so severe and pervasive that it “altered your conditions of employment by creating a psychologically abusive work environment.” The employer may be held liable if he/she knew or should have known of the harassment and failed to take prompt remedial steps to stop the harassment. How can I prove that the harassing conduct was severe or pervasive enough to alter the working conditions and create an abusive environment? You must be able to meet both an objective and a subjective standard. The objective standard is met if a Court determines that a reasonable person in your position would have considered the conduct severe or pervasive. Under the subjective standard, you must have actually found the conduct sufficiently severe or pervasive to interfere with your work environment. In other words, a Court looks at what your reaction to the conduct was, and whether your reaction was reasonable, according how a reasonable person in your position would have reacted. What types of damages can I recover if I am successful in demonstrating sexual harassment? A Court may order the company to: stop the harassment; pay lost wages and other job-related losses (e.g. promotions, or favorable work status you lost because of the sexual harassment); pay compensation for physical, mental and emotional injuries; pay punitive damages; pay your attorneys’ fees and expenses associated with litigating your case. Not all employment disputes require a lawsuit, and sometimes negotiation is the best course of action. Sandalwood Oil – Aromatherapy For The Mind, Body, And Spirit

By Misty Rae Cech, ND Sandalwood is one of the world’s most widely used essential oils, prized for its scent in perfumery, for its therapeutic effects in Chinese, Ayurvedic and Tibetan medicine systems, and for its ability to center the mind in meditative yogic traditions. Sandalwood essential oil is most often extracted via steam distillation from the wood of the Sandalwood tree, with the heartwood of the roots producing the highest quality oil. Sandalwood is an evergreen, growing to a height of 9 meters, with leathery leaves and small purple flowers. Native to southern tropical Asia, the tree is parasitic, gaining its nutrients from one of several other tree species. Because it can only be grown this way, and due to its seemingly strict set of environmental conditions, Sandalwood is difficult to propagate. To add to the challenge of successful cultivation, Sandalwood takes nearly 30 years to mature before yielding oil of any worth. Sandalwood essential oil has a woody, balsamic, sweet and slightly musky aroma; it is a pale yellow, greenish or brownish liquid with excellent tenacity (the aroma tends to last a long time) and superior fixative properties. There are several varieties available, with Santalum album is considered the most important therapeutically. The Mysore region of eastern India is thought to produce the highest quality of this oil type, though its harvesting is creating a strain on the area’s natural environment. Recently, an oil of the austrocaledonia species has been produced on the South Pacific island of Vanuatu from successfully cultivated Sandalwood trees. This oil has a fantastic aroma, with a woody, smoky scent that can remind one of being at the beach – an excellent base note in perfume and cosmetic blends. In the West, Sandalwood oil is perhaps best known in the west as a natural, woody, sweet body perfume used ‘as is’, or as a familiar aroma in many cosmetics, aftershaves and the like. In the east, however, Sandalwoods importance in cultural and spiritual traditions cannot be overstated. The wood is carved into furniture, religious icons, used to build temples and burned as incense in a great variety of ceremonies. The oil is used to anoint the dead, helping their transition to the next life. In Burma, women sprinkle it on passersby on the last day of the year for the release of sins. In Hindu marriages, Sandalwood is burned in a tent such that the smoke surrounds the bridal couple. For the meditative yogi, the oil and incense encourage a serene state of mind, supporting alignment of the individual with the universal Self. In the traditional Indian medicine system of Ayurveda, Sandalwood is valued for it’s ability to cool the fire of pitta. It is indicated for inflammatory conditions, such as inflamed skin, or intestinal and genitor-urinary conditions that require cooling. Modern aromatherapy considers the oil an effective skin care agent for dry skin, general irritation and acne; it can help in cases of bronchitis, catarrh, dry persistent coughs, laryngitis and sore throat; it may relieve diarrhea and nausea, and can be supportive in cases of cystitis. Beyond the physical body, Sandalwood essential oil is a great tonic for the hyper-active mind. In practical terms, the oil is considered an anti-depressant through it’s ability to relieve hot, agitated emotional states, and to assist in release from over-thinking and worry. More esoterically, the aroma is considered ‘divinely sweet’ and softly balsamic, characteristics which evoke the grounding of the Earth element. It is said to release one from the ‘tyranny of the intellect’ which can cloud one’s true nature, bringing about a more serene state unifying body, mind and spirit. From this quiet, unified state comes forth the true creative mind, finding infinite possibility in the here and now. It is in this peaceful, unified state where meditation can affect profound transformation. Recommended essential oil blends for calming the mind are as follows – these can be used for general massage, reflexology, or applied to pulse points and temples: For ‘obsessive’ thinking, try four (4) drops of Sandalwood and two (2) drops of Vetiver in one tablespoon of carrier; for a detached analytical state try three (3) drops Geranium, two (2) drops Sandalwood and one (1) drop Patchouli in one tablespoon of carrier. These blends can also be created for use in a diffuser by omitting the carrier oil. For a great perfume also with soothing qualities, combine three parts Sandalwood and two parts Vanilla oil – the blend produces a wonderful tropical island aroma. Finally, Sandalwood is one of the few essential oils which improves with age. Due to increasing demand, the oil’s price is climbing significantly every year – it can be worthwhile to purchase a little more than you think you’ll need immediately, as storing it for some time will only result in a richer oil in the future. Of course, samples are also a great place to start, as you can first find a Sandalwood that truly suits you. Different Study Levels

By Sharon White Study process includes five levels which should be followed in strict order and developed through the time. They are: goal setting, research, reading, comprehension, analysis and conclusion. All the levels differ much in their approaches, results and time consummation, but all of them are to be used with the same purpose success. Each new knowledge study should start with goal setting. Every student shall ask himself/herself why he or she is going to learn the information and what benefit he/she would get from this information. While the reasons of study may vary (pass the exam, write a term paper, get a higher degree etc.) the benefit is always the same to be a successful student and use the knowledge for future development and career. The best way for students to demonstrate the set goal is to write a little outline (picture, scheme, word chain etc.) which will show the cause-result effect. For example, If I learn I will be able to in a future. Once the study goal has been set up the next level of research would seem much clearer. The goal must be a good basis for research, for example, if a student needs to learn the cell structure and has a goal to become a microbiologist in a future he should focus on modern researches on cell structure. Research level should not be looked like I am seeking everything about that. Research would not be effective till it is not narrowed to the only topic. If the topic is given it would be useful to outline the research process by defining a few tasks and dividing the topic into several subtopics. Taking the cell structure example, a student may choose only three cell components to define and focus his/her research on just a few modern approaches to these components study. The information gained after the research level has been finished needs to be read in calm and careful manner. The reading process takes more time than goal setting and research levels. A student shall not just read, reading for study requires such activities as highlighting and selecting. It is useful to highlight and select the very paragraphs which can be used for further analysis. Comprehension level requires re-reading of what has been highlighted and selected and it would be useful to repeat reading aloud. The information is comprehended much more successfully if both seeing and hearing abilities are involved. Comprehension in such manner should take less time than first reading. Analysis would be made in best way if it is done through discussion. It is worth saying that discussion for analysis purpose does not really require interest person involvement. Students may speak about the information they are learning to anybody as such discussion is not aimed to teach the listener. It does not even require honest listening or understanding; the speaker just needs to speak about the new things. They say that if you have a problem, just speak about it and it will disappear. Discussion and analysis should not consume much time, an hour or so. Conclusion shall be made upon all levels previously done: look at your goal, research outline and the highlights again; remember what you were thinking and talking about during comprehension and discussion. Then write draft again and again until you find three-four most successful ideas and can write them down in clear and perfect manner. The article was produced by the writer of masterpapers.com. Just A Little Testa Mint

By Christopher Pratt I am quite sure almost everyone in America knows what a mint is. No, not the one with all the money!!! But even so, probably just as rich in quality. Folks have been enjoying mint candies in the United States since the late 1790′s. Mint in our country has a rich history. Brought to the new world as a medicine, eventually, it was used in the making of a wonderful treat. The ancients were intelligent about the uses of herbs for healing, and with great success, used mint for helping out with digestive problems and for that oh so important purpose of making one’s breath fresh. Both concepts are still extensively in use today. However, it is the use of mint for candy making purposes that delights us and blesses us today. The hard candy mints we know today were invented in another century and still realize great popularity now. You have probably been to a restaurant where that pretty little red and white candy was brought to you after your dinner. Starlights, the red and white mints, are still big sellers in the candy world today. What baby shower has not been graced with those tiny little pink, yellow, and white soft mints. They are not only good, but they are pretty as well; and they serve a good purpose: To set a beautiful table and offer guests a little treat to snack on during a special occasion. In 1912 we saw the invention of the minty Lifesaver, so called because it really resembles a life preserver. Children and adults alike have savored these little rings for decades and they are still going strong. Now there are several different varieties and flavors. In 1949 we saw the emergence of a manufactured candy product called Junior Mints. The candy producers successfully married a creamy white mint filling with a delicious dark chocolate covering. Junior Mints were yummy then and they still are. This sparked a whole craze of combing the mint confection with creamy chocolate, and today you can get the fantastic combination in everything from After Eight dinner mints to Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. It is an extremely popular flavor combination. It seems as though almost everyone has at least one favorite mint product. Even those who don’t subscribe to mint eating in general still say they love those little pastel balls of chocolate mints, or they like their Lifesavers, or maybe its those pastel drop Mint Melt- Aways. You can bet, if you asked 100 people what their favorite mint morsel was, you would get 100 affirmative answers and not one, “I don’t eat mint.” Christopher Pratt is President of Candy Warehouse, the leading bulk candy store online for bulk candy discounts and specialty candy for specific occasions. Check out their great selection of mints and other delectable treats. Counting Calories to Lose Weight

By Chris Chenoweth All the hype about losing weight and burning fat boils down to one simple fact, you must use up more calories than you take in. If you eat more calories than your body needs to function effectively, the additional calories will be stored as fat. Before you make any changes to your diet by reducing your calorie intake, remember, you must never deprive your body of food. Limiting your food intake too drastically will cause your body to go into survival mode, slowing down metabolism. A decrease in the metabolism rate will decrease your bodys ability to burn off excess calories. Over time, the metabolism will continue to slow down, making it much more difficult to lose weight and keep it off. The best way to make sure you are consuming less calories each day than you are burning up is to learn how to count the calories you are taking in. Counting calories, combined with a low fat diet and exercise, is essential for healthy weight loss. As you learn how to count calories, it will become easier for you. Counting calories does not take a lot of time or effort and is flexible enough to fit into any personal preferences. As long as you eat less calories than you burn up each day, you will lose weight, regardless of the foods you eat. The first thing you need to do is figure out how many calories you need each day to maintain your weight, usually this is around 2000 calories for women and 2500 for men. Remember, to lose weight, your calorie intake must be less than the calories you burn. To lose weight, cut down your calories intake by around 500 calories per day. At this rate, you would lose around one pound per week. If you cut out 1000 calories per day, you will lose around two pounds per week. When you consume less calories, your body has to use its fat storage to make up for the calorie deficit. Combining exercise with your reduced calories count is the healthiest way for you to lose weight. Use a calorie calculator to make counting calories easier. It can tell you how many calories you need and give you more control and knowledge about your calorie intake. To be successful at losing weight, you must combine changes in your lifestyle with changes in your food choices. This involves not only cutting down on calories, but eating smaller portions, and being more physically active. You can enjoy all foods as part of a healthy diet as long as you remember to eat in moderation. Enjoy your food, but do not stuff yourself. You will regret it later. TIPS FOR MAKING CHANGES IN YOUR DIET *EAT SMALLER PORTIONS REGULARLY – Eating every 3-4 hours revs up your metabolism, burning fat quicker and more efficiently. Your body will not get hungry in this way. *EAT LOW FAT Eat a diet low in saturated fats and trans fatty acids (beef, veal, lamb, pork, lard, butter, cream, whole milk dairy products and can be present in processed foods like frozen dinners and some canned food) and high in monounsaturated fats (olive oil, flaxseed oil, peanut oil and avocados). Watch those calories in your fat intake. *EAT COMPLEX CARBOHYDRATES Eat a diet rich in complex carbohydrates (fruit, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes). *EAT LEAN PROTEINS Choose lean meats, poultry, and fish. Bake, broil, or grill. Do not fry, as it adds to the calorie count and is not healthy! Beans, nuts and seeds also provide protein. *AVOID SUGAR Avoid foods containing sugar. You know what they are! Always check food labels to see how much sugar is present. Some foods contain sugar that may surprise you. Remember, sugar-laden foods are also calorie-laden. Beware! *AVOID ALCOHOL Avoid alcohol. If you must drink, limit intake to one drink a day. Some alcoholic beverages contain more calories than others. Check the labels for calorie content. *DRINK WATER Drink lots of water, at least 8 glasses a day. Sip slowly throughout the day. Water speeds up metabolism and flushes toxins out of your body. *INCREASE YOUR ACTIVITY LEVEL Walk to work or park your car in the parking space farthest from your destination. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Go biking with your kids. Work in the yard, clean house with a little more vigor. Any activity is good for you body. Make sure you always read the food label found on almost all processed foods, If you are restricting calories and portions, the food label will let you know whether or not the food gives you the nutrients you need and will tell you the serving size and number of calories in each serving. Losing weight is all about making healthy changes to your diet and lifestyle. Once you have cut down on calories and are more physically active, you will start losing weight and start feeling and looking better.
